So very tired.
I love how I can search for work for months with no results, then all of a sudden I have two and don’t have time for anything else but sleep… Life beyond school is definitely not all it’s cracked up to be.

As always, looking for a job is tiresome. Also, I have too much time on my hands, so much in fact that I’m at risk of becoming a couch potato. The sad thing is that you need money to really do much of anything, and I’m broke as a joke until I get some work. ‘Tis a vicious cycle.
For all things born in truth must die, and out of death in truth comes life. Face to face with what must be, cease thou from sorrow.
Invisible before birth are all beings and after death invisible again. They are seen between two unseens. Why in this truth find sorrow?
❞Krishna advising Arjuna in The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2.
Pretty soon I’ll have read the whole thing, and then I’ll have to try and figure out what it all means… Or at least how I feel about it.
My mom once told me that I needed to find what I believe in, even if it’s not the same as everyone else, because you draw strength from what you believe.
Well, this is one of my first steps. I’ve heard a lot from other people about what they believe, but now it’s time to see if I believe in anything, or if I’m just going to float in uncertainty forever. Maybe I won’t come up with anything, but hey, at least I’m giving it a shot.

“Life could be simple but you never fail
To complicate it every single time
You could have children and a wife, a perfect little life
But you blow it on a bottle of wine”
You were the best loveable, fat cat of all time.

YOU OTHER READERS CAN’T DENY
WHEN A BOOK WALKS IN WITH A GOOD PLOT BASE
AND A BIG SPINE IN YOUR FACE YOU GET SPRUNG
WANNA PULL OUT YOUR PENS
‘CAUSE YOU NOTICED THAT BOOK WAS DENSE
READING, HALF-RIMS I’M WEARING
I’M HOOKED AND I AIN’T CARING
OH BABY I WANT AN E-READER
AND A MEANINGFUL METER
MY TEACHERS TRIED TO TRAIN ME
THAT BOOK YOU GOT MAKES ME SO BRAINY
Best thing EVER!!

I really, really, really want to go.
That’s right. Dress up and everything… Maybe even get a pair of vintage lady’s opera glasses (aka. mini binoculars). Just saying, it might be fun.
Check them out!
I’m working on the design for my next tattoo. I already have a verse on my forearm, now I’m going to make it a full on band wrapping around my arm. I love tattoos!
when talking about a women’s dress size, weight, curves, body image, etc. Everyone wants to blast that “real women” have curves & no one is under a size 4 without starving themselves. Well guess what? No matter the size of a woman, they are every bit of a real woman as the gal next to them. I have a handful of friends, family & co-workers who naturally don’t weigh over 115 lbs or who’s bra size is less than an A cup or who genetically have pencil stick thighs. And actually, sometimes this is hard on them because they have rude & unkind comments blasted at them daily about not eating, about being unhealthy, etc. I am so tired of this whole crusade that big curvy women are the only ”real” ones.
Fuck off. We are all real. We are all fighting our own battles. We are who we believe ourselves to be. We have the choice, every single day, to choose to be healthy. And maybe one persons idea of healthy is different from the next. So what? So when people want to start throwing around that it’s what’s inside that matters, then all women need to be addressed. And for god’s sake, why do people care? Stop with the judgements, jealousy & hatred. Be in love with yourself, worry about your own health & take pride in who you are.
Very well said. I wish the world was just full of people who love themselves… The result, I’m sure, would be people who can’t help but love each other, because there’s no hate in themselves to direct at others.

Ah, Tina Fey. I love the way she can punch society with blatant honesty that’s also quite humorous.
